All applicants need to complete and submit the on-line application form, provide a CV and a one-page statement describing their background and interest in the program, and indicate how they hope the program will benefit their future activities. Students will need to supply two letters of recommendation. Please send all of these materials to rebecca@mbi.osu.edu.
The deadline for the Summer Program is April 15, 2009.
You may call 614-292-3648 or apply on-line.
We hope that every participant gains an increased appreciation for how mathematics, statistics, and computer science can address and resolve problems in biology and medicine. We hope that students will pursue further study in mathematical biosciences in graduate school or as postdoctoral fellows. We hope to provide college teachers with a stimulating research experience and encouragement to incorporate program materials in their classrooms.
