Winter Quarter 2003
Neural Coding and Functionality
The winter program will focus on two related areas:
how information about the outside world is represented within
the nervous system, and how tasks are encoded by the nervous system.
The program will begin with a 1-week tutorial that will introduce
postdocs and interested faculty to the topics of information theory
and the analysis of massive multi-unit data streams.

Spring Quarter 2003
Specific Neuronal Systems
The spring quarter program will focus on the olfactory,
auditory, and sensory-motor systems. The program will begin with
a 1 week tutorial, which will introduce postdocs and interested
faculty to the anatomy and physiology of each of these neural
systems.
