Pearl Named Fellow of Statistical
Association - Dennis K. Pearl, professor of statistics, will
be named Fellow of the American Statistical Association on August
13th during the annual awards ceremony at the Joint Statistical
Meetings in New York City. The citation lauds Pearl for his "research
in stochastic processes and statistcal genetics, for the collaborative
research in the medical field, and for innovative teaching approaches
