2010 Workshop for Young Researchers in Mathematical Biology Application Form

Participation will be limited to 30-35 individuals. Participants are expected to attend the entire workshop. There is no registration fee for MBI programs.

Applications received by May 1, 2010 will receive full consideration. Those who apply after May 1, 2010 will not be considered for talks or receive financial support. Please provide contact information that will be current as of May 1, 2010.

Request for Funding

The MBI will plan to cover local expenses for all invitees, but travel expenses may only be available on a competitive basis. Please fill:

Domestic airfare (Maximum of $300)
Personal auto reimbursement (Maximum of $300)
International airfare (Maximum of $500)
Not requesting travel support

Posters

All participants are expected to present an original poster representing recent work as well as to give a 2-3 minute advertisement of the poster, using electronic slides (PPT, PDF).

The abstract should be accessible to a broad audience of researchers in mathematical biology. Abstracts should be approximately 100-300 words and address the link between mathematics and biology in the proposed work.
