MBI Post-doc Amir Asiaee awarded NIH Pathway to Independence Award!
Dr. Amir Asiaee, who began a position as an MBI postdoc in August 2017, was recently awarded an NIH Pathway to Independence Award from the National Human Genome Research Institute for his proposal titled, "Casual Effect Estimation of Regulatory Molecules." The award provides funding for Amir to spend two additional years at MBI and supports three years of his research when he transitions to a faculty position. Amir credited MBI with providing "the independence and flexibility to work on exciting problems with fantastic collaborators." Congratulations, Amir!
