Adriana Dawes is an Associate Professor at The Ohio State University, with a joint appointment in the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Molecular Genetics. She is currently serving as an Associate Director of the MBI. She is a faculty member of the Biophysics and Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology interdisciplinary programs, and a faculty trainer with the Cellular, Molecular, and Biochemical Sciences Program. She is an Associate Editor for the Bulletin of Mathematical Biology and serves on the mentoring committee for the Society for Mathematical Biology. Her research is funded by a variety of public and private sources including NSF, NIH, the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, and the Research Corporation for Science Advancement.
